The trail keeps getting better, and this restaurant is another example of that. Delicious food, lovely outdoor deck (where we ate) and nice interior space too. All 6 of us enjoyed our meals. The waitress was great, and the chef/owner came outside to check on our group. I wish I had had room for dessert! Next time. Highly recommend.
Fresh made-to-order authentic Italian food in a lovely Main Street vibe with Italian music for added atmosphere. The chef cooks your dishes in a kitchen that you can view. BYOB with a small corking fee. Everything is delicioso!
Have enjoyed Ruvos several times...generous portions..small quaint dining area..nice..friendly staff..and did I mention the food is great
Anthony, the owner was great. He had booked the place out but was able to feed us before the booked party arrived. Food was outstanding.
We were driving to Connellsville from the Flight 93 Memorial for an overnight before touring Kentuck Knob and Fallingwater the next day, concerned we'd get into town too late to eat, so I called ahead to Ruvo's to make sure they'd be open. They were closing the kitchen for orders earlier than we were able to arrive, but Hannah, the young woman who answered the phone, offered to allow us us to order ahead. We so appreciated it! Sadly, the were out of the highly-touted chicken parmesan, but we shared an antipasto (excellent) and a house salad (fine, what you would expect) and the cheese ravioli for two, and everything was delicious! Dinner came with Italian bread with oil and herbs. As mentioned in other reviews, you can bring in your own wine, which we grabbed at Sheetz (Alamos Malbec, so not bad, but we later found out there is a liquor store even closer to the restaurant that was also open). The atmosphere is simple and pleasant, the music nicely-chosen and not too loud. We split a Tiramisu for dessert, but I understand they stuff the cannoli right before serving it, which is certainly preferred. Highly recommended!
