Star Cinema Grill - Conroe

We arrived 20 minutes before the movie started, but it wasn't until we were 30 minutes into the show that a server finally attended to us. We placed our order for dinner and drinks, but after waiting over an hour and asking three different servers where our food was, one informed us that they had run out of pork and had canceled our order without notifying us. Apparently, they wondered if we still wanted something to eat. The poor service really took away from our movie experience. We won’t be coming back, as there are much better options available.

If you're looking to recreate the nostalgic movie theater experience you had as a child for your kids, this isn't the right place. Additionally, paying nine dollars for a bowl of popcorn is quite outrageous! This theater caters more to adults, and it can be frustrating to have to choose your seats in advance. I prefer to get a feel for the atmosphere before deciding where to sit.

The service was terrible. It took nearly an hour for us to receive our food and drinks before the movie started, and they got our order wrong. The staff had a very poor attitude. I recommend driving the extra 10 minutes to Reel Luxury Cinema in The Woodlands to avoid this hassle.

Sadly they’re not prepared to provide food service. They were very overwhelmed. Placed at order at 8:55 for drinks and at 9:35 I finally gave up and went up to the bar to get drinks, only to find out the frozen drink machine was down. Some employees clearly trying hard but others not so much. A few just standing around, talking. Best to try a traditional theater next time

Don't get there too early and see your seats in the light, they are disgustingly dirty. Service was slow, I had to ask if I needed to go to the bar to get the drinks we ordered myself before the waitress went and got them. Also, the food could have been better for the price.
