Myself and my partner ordered: 2x large fish and chips both with salt and vinegar, and a pot of homemade curry sauce and the gravy. Well safe to say I am incredibly disappointed and very annoyed at this experience. To start off two fish and chips with sauces cost £38!!!! If the food was any good, I’d be fine with paying that but everything was pretty bad. First of all, we ordered the meals to go through just eat and was delivered over an hour late. (We live 2 minutes down the road. When the food turned up, the curry sauce was spilled all over the bag, it made a huge mess when I opened up the bag. (It was properly the fault of the delivery driver tbf. When eating the fish and chips, 1 portion of chips had no salt and vinegar. The fish was quite big in size which is quite nice but it was completely flavourless and very greasy. The batter got stuck to the paper wrapping and peels off and was all mushy. At £10 a fish you would expect so much better!!!!!! Myself and my partner are not the type to complain about food, we’re not fussy or likely to complain about food too much. But for the cost of this meal, we were appalled. We’re not done yet though, my partner ate less than half of his meal and told me that the homemade curry sauce tasted soapy? He said that it tasted like the pot it was cooked in hadn’t been rinsed properly of soap sudds. My gravy tasted like cheap beef’s gravy that you can buy from Asda, it would have been cheaper from there too! We both haven’t finished our meals and are now left hungry, annoyed and dead set on never returning here again! Shame on you Harbour View, £38 for this standard of food is bad!

We had fish chips and mushy peas to take away and I must say the worst meal I’ve had expect a bit more when paying over 16 quid!!
