However,we found ourselves in Llandudno (we are not local),in the month of June for 3 weeks and went again and again to the shop ,but it was never open. The adjoining shop owner told us several times that the Oatcake shop was not permanently closed and that she had tried to contact Sue the owner several times ,to no avail. It 's a shame ,as the shop had loyal, regular customers apparently and Sue made a good product.
I keep trying but it seems only to open when the owner manages to get out of bed, shame because the oatcakes are brilliant
It makes and sells Staffordshire oatcakes. Little more. But delicious, and if you have never eaten them then go and try. They are best eaten cooked fresh as they do not keep. The prices are a bargain. The owner is so friendly, but opening is when there is likely to be trade for things cooked in front of customers.
These are the freshest oatcakes I have ever had, and they are from North Wales. Amazing. I really enjoyed the oatcakes - they are unique, light, and not heavy at all.
Lucky on one occasion and found the shop open ,don’t understand ,great product if you can catch the place open (October 2019 mid week
