Fast becoming my favourite pub. Landlady and staff and really friendly. There's a good selection of food on offer. Meals are lovely and great value. Looking forward to my next visit.
Lovely old/historic public house. Menu simple, good food and well priced.will be returning asap.
Absolutely love this place, the food is fantastic, the prices are great, the service, staff and the cleanliness are all top notch. I cannot recommend this place for food enough. 10 out of 10 all day long.
The public house offers a solid dining experience. The quality of the food is quite good; I had the lamb and beef, which was worth the extra 50 pence, and it came with a deliciously thick gravy. The Yorkshire puddings, however, were a bit disappointing. On the other hand, the dessert had its own drama – what was presented as a traditional apple cake turned out to be a microwaved version. The horseradish was flavorful. The service was good, with the staff being polite and well-organized. The pub itself is beautifully decorated, featuring a rustic charm on the lower level, while the upper level is modern and bright. It has a lovely garden area and plenty of tables, along with ample parking. It could have earned a five-star rating, but the issues with the Yorkshire puddings and desserts held it back. Overall, it definitely deserves a solid 4 stars.
