Old World Cafe Ice Cream - Corning

Large selection of freshly prepared, unique, high-quality dishes. A tad expensive. You order and then pick up your food at the counter, which can be a little busy. They used to offer self-service ice-water that I prefer high calorie-caffeinated drinks (and I thought it was NY state law for restaurants to ptovide), but now you have to buy water... humph. Adorable old time ice fountain atmosphere makes this a great destination for lunch.

You have the best food I've tasted for a long time. It's so nice to go somewhere and eat healthy or hearty? or both! I was blown away, you can say the food is made with love and that makes a big difference in taste!

Great place for snacks, ice hearty bites in the heart of downtown Corning! Cosy atmosphere with many seats and many outdoor seating nearby. We packed soups to go and store on snacks, including the Cheddar cheese for our trip.

A great place to take your family for ice cream! The old-fashioned atmosphere is a beautiful touch and serves for beautiful family memories! I'm going here when I visit the Corning Museum of Glass for a fresh lunch! I recommend their milkshakes that are extra creamy and full of taste! The only drawback is that they sometimes close quite early. I propose to check their business hours for current information, as I know that the business can have variable hours.

Old style soda shop feel gives this place charm. We ate lunch outside and had pot roast potato leek soup, turkey avocado sandwich, and the veggie layer wrap. All of the food was fresh and delicious! We stopped back for ice cream after shopping. My friend had the Almond Joy sundae and I had salty caramel truffle with hot fudge. Both were delicious.
