I decided to try the chili burger (listed differently on the menu) and I was happy with my choice. The chili had the perfect level of spiciness for me. I recommend ordering through the waitstaff for great service, as they made multiple trips to ensure we were happy with our meal.
I can't rave enough about this restaurant! I love the fresh options available and the food is worth the wait. The atmosphere and service are great, and even my picky son enjoys the traditional favorites here. I highly recommend trying the Verde Tal burger and the Steakhouse burger, as well as any of the drinks on the menu. The portions are not huge, but they are always cooked perfectly to my liking. I appreciate the cute branding on the hats, thanks to G's!
There are veggie burger so delicious! I really enjoyed a side salad there. it was so fresh! I wish they could have more opportunities for people who can't eat bark (such as a buffalo chicken sandwich or something) but the few things they have are delicious.
Hi Jenniefr and Guff. We have been consistent patrons of your's since you opened. Your place is rustic cool with small town hospitality which really makes this a great find in Cornville. Your burger's are terrific and your fries are a home run! Unfortunately, for the first time in countless visits, we noticed something that we just never saw before for some reason. Sadly, it turned out to be a very uncomfortable and serious conversation we had to have with our visiting friends young children whom we brought there while visiting us from Hawaii. As we stood in line to order, my husband and friends grabbed a much desired table for all of us. I was waiting to order with their two young children. The couple infront of us were placing their order ... and one item was the salad called Asian Invasion . To my horror, the man turned around and looked down at the kids standing next to me. He then looked at me and said, Oops, sorry no offense Mikilani and Trevor the children are of Asian/ Polynesian decent. Trevor looked up at me and asked what the man did wrong. From behind me, two teenagers mumbling and laughing saying ... Asian Invaison! classic they don't know this is Cornville, and they don't belong here I was absolutely stunned ... I did not know what to say so I unfortunately just ignored them. Absolutely caught off guard. Trevor kept tugging at me asking me what Asian Invaison was ... I tried to deflect his questioning ... but he's a child and a loud one at that. Becky at the counter could see how uncomfortable I was, so she did her best as always to welcome us and move past it. After ordering, we sat down and I just felt so angry and sad about what had occurred. The kids said nothing more, although Mikilani, the young girl was now very quiet. When we were getting in our car, my husband asked me what was wrong as the mood was very off and quiet. I told him what had happened ... and he said he'll go handle it. At 6'4 220 lbs., a retired veteran, he has a strong sense of right and wrong and calling it out. Both thankfully and sadly, Mikilani asked that we just leave and go home. Later that evening, we told our friends what had happened and they felt sad that the kids had that happen to them while having been enjoying their spring break. I never noticed what you named a salad on your menu Jennifer ... and if I did, I would not have brought them there. Also being in the hospitality business, I would never want to make my patrons feel uncomfortable or make them feel not welcomed. Something so unintentional and so minor to some ... is so destructive and life long harmful to others. I'm just sad about it ... Your place is really great and your staff is awesome ... but this has really hit me hard. I don't feel we can continue to be customers being reminded by your menu how destructive a phrase can be. Perhaps you guys will think about changing that item name. Our country is in such turmoil as it is with so much anger and hate ... Thank you for reading.
I moved to cottonwood about 4 months ago. And have been out burger huntingHere and there to see who makes the best REAL BURGERS. I was tipped off about this place by a local. Was so excited to try this talked about burger place. And to my surprise the burger I got was a disgrace to burgers. Literally the worst burger I’ve ever had.The lettuce is terrible, the patty was small and over cooked and flavorless . The most basic burger ever.I didn’t even finish it I was so disappointed. What I really think was missing was heart or soul in the food. Plus that cheap coleslaw looking lettuce has to go.So for a positive. Other than the shameful burger. The staff was great and it’s a decent little joint to have a beer or a shot.Just watch out for the tables . They are super sticky and greasy. But if the burger was exceptional.Could of been 5 stars .This may seem like a rude post but I feel it’s important businesses hear the bad so they can improve and adjust.
