If you like seafood you would be disappointed going here no comparison to Red Lobster you if you want just fish and chips then it would be okay, but not for seafood.
So this spot has merged with the Seaway Roadhouse and they share a kitchen and a menu with one side being Joey's and the other side being the Roadhouse menu. We were sat quickly but the menus didn't come until ten minutes later with our waitress not showing back up for another twenty minutes to inform us that half the menu wasn't even available. The service overall is terrible they took out drink orders and didn't start making them for another twenty minutes or so and then everything came out in piece with half of us not receiving our food until a full half hour after the first batch was brought out. I work in the industry and feel like this spot should be condemned for their poor service and terrible food. Not even worth the trip for drinks margaritas on their menu don't even come with tequila.
When in Cornwall we always stopped for Joey's two piece of fish and chips, but no more. The price has increased a lot and the quantity has dropped, and there is no longer coleslaw with the fish and chips. Most times the fish is done quite well, although sometimes it can be overcooked, but most recently it was good but the portions were tiny. Pollock is not that expensive that they have to cheap out on the fish.
We had the two piece take out. The chips were done OK but the fish for the three of us was way overdone. In fact the fish my wife had was so hard she could not even chew it. We won't be back.
