Trennick Mill

The owner of this restaurant seems unconcerned about negative reviews, as they believe nobody reads them anyway. Despite this, I feel compelled to share my experience. While at the park, my family and I decided to grab lunch at this nearby restaurant. We were seated promptly and served quickly, but there was a wait for our food. Unfortunately, when my son ordered the ham, cheese, and pineapple pizza, a cheese and pineapple pizza was brought to our table instead. When we inquired about the missing ham, the waitress brought out a plate of ham separately. We expressed our dissatisfaction with the incorrect order and requested a refund, but were denied because we had not brought it up earlier. I explained that it wasn't a complaint about the pizza itself, but rather about not receiving what we had ordered. Despite the waitress and other staff agreeing with us, the owner insisted on no refund and became confrontational. Their lack of customer service and aggressive behavior left a negative impression on us. It is disappointing to see such disregard for customer satisfaction, especially from the owner. This experience has dissuaded me from supporting this establishment in the future.

Three of us went to Trennick Mill for lunch today. My cousin had the gammon ploughman's, I had the cheese ploughman's, and my son had a 12-inch pizza. The food was excellent value for money and we all really enjoyed it. We will definitely be returning soon for another visit.

Generous and freshly made sandwich. We wanted to share, so they gave us an extra plate. Full of fresh chicken. Very quick service

The main issue with this restaurant is the inconsistency in service. Upon arrival, we were overlooked multiple times before finally being seated. The quality of the food was disappointing as well. The Gammon Steak was essentially just heated up ham, the chicken was overcooked and tough, and the baguette was a small, rock-hard piece of bread. Despite its good location, I would recommend avoiding this restaurant at all costs.

Just came in on the off chance with my mum. 2 lovely ladies behind the counter made us feel welcome . My mum had egg mayonnaise in brown bread with salad, and I had the quiche with new potatoes, salad and coleslaw. Absolutely lovely food, cannot fault it at all.
