I was purposely trying to find a dive bar to meet my friend for a game of pool and a couple of drinks. I did a little leg work on the internet and came up with this little spot in Corrales. Parking was ample, the place wasn't crowded (for a Friday night), and our bartender/waitress ran a well oiled machine (I think her name was Lisa). I'll drink anything in any given situation, but I did note the beer selection was a little underwhelming but my spirits-sipping friend had no issues finding something. This is a great place to have a drink minus the crowds from more reputable places around the city. It's smack dab in the middle of Corrales, which also adds to its charm.
