Cedarhurst Mansion - Cottage Grove

The fish we ordered was fantastic! The food was served promptly, and the staff was very friendly. Sitting on the veranda was a delightful experience. There's really no need to expand the menu—it’s perfect as it is! Let’s keep this hidden gem a secret for a while longer!

Service was extremely slow, had to walk in to bar area to get waters refilled. Our first drink order took 20 minutes to arrive at our table. The second drink order they ran out of the kind of beer some were drinking. Asked for coffee, they didn't have any. Asked for dessert, they didn't have any. Everyone in our party of 6 ordered fish dinner and all of us agreed it was over battered with tough fish inside. the atmosphere out on the front deck is wonderful. i think the slow service and lack of knowledge was a turn off

Very friendly staff, brunch was good. Didn't like the sausage as much though but the rest was good. Liked how they didn't salt the eggs.

We loved coming back to Cedarhurst since this is where we were married 32 years ago. The food was very good. However, I would have loved some bread or rolls with my salad which was my entrée. We also weren't offered dessert which was a disappointment. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our evening.
