MEEKO's Restaurant Bar - COZUMEL

I ordered the Lobster de Casa and it was several small lobster tails grilled n butter. The price was so much below any other lobster I've seen on the island, I was amazed. And because they were small, they were really, really tasty. I'd order them again and recommend them to all lobster lovers. The price was less than 300 pesos!

We stopped in after spending the afternoon in town. so glad we did. small, quaint little place. with an amazing bartender & friendly pleasant owner, Regine. She moved here from Canada & opened this restaurant about 7 months ago. We wish her lots of luck! we had the ceviche & it was outstanding! shrimp, octopus & lobster...yummy! if you want to be where the locals eat & away from the cavernous dining rooms with no atmosphere this is the place for you! we will be back on our next trip for sure!

We loved going to Meeko's! We went there for dinner one night, and asked for something sweet, like ice cream, for dessert. We then found out that Meeko's doesn't offer dessert on their menu. BUT a few minutes later, the bartender came back with a surprise for us. He made us something similiar to mango sorbet from scratch!! It was so amazing, we returned the next night just for his creation, and he made us a banana sorbet from scratch. He is amazing, and so friendly!!

This is a great little place owned by a Canadian couple! We had trouble finding restaurants that weren't outrageously priced! The Ceviche is amazingly fresh and yummy! Simple fresh ingredients that make you happy you went there!Make sure you ask for corn tortillas if you have problems with gluten! They are wonderful and super accommodating for this allergy! Like anywhere, its not guaranteed, but they really try hard.I recommend getting the shrimp burrito done in corn tortillas instead of wheat. It was YUMMY! Also love their fish tacos- very similar to their ceviche but with lots of yummy garlic and this creamy sauce!Definitely a steal of a deal!
