Frankie Johnny's - Cozumel

Fried chicken was OK, not great, and reportedly had an “old frying oil” flavor. Fries were good.

Gumbo was good, lots of meat, and the jerk chicken poorboy was good but the person who ate it said they would have enjoyed roast beef more.

Chicken parm for another member of my party was reportedly delicious!

Coldest beer in the city, Excellent gumbo. And Their fried shrimp platter and hot sausage poboy arguably the best in the city of NOLA

I love Frankie and Johnny’s! I come to NOLA several times a year and always make it a point to have their oysters, gumbo and usually a poboy. Friendly, fun local atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re a part of it it’ll you’re not from New Orleans!
