Wildflour Sweets - Crested Butte

Danielle is truly outstanding! Wildflour Sweets consistently creates beautiful and delicious cakes and treats!

I had a fantastic experience ordering a birthday cake for my wife with Danielle. She was incredibly helpful in suggesting some exceptional design choices, and then she took care of everything to create the most delicious and beautiful cake we've ever tasted! We highly recommend trying the carrot cake, as well as adding her macaroons for an extra treat!

We recently had our wedding in Crested Butte and wanted to choose a local businesses for the cake. Wildflour Sweets came highly recommended by everyone so we chose them (i.e. Danielle) to create it. Danielle did not disappoint. We chose a non-traditional cake that required marbled fondant and Danielle absolutely nailed it. The two cake flavors we chose (Lemon Raspberry and Almond) were both huge hits with our guests and we received compliments from everyone on both the look and the taste. Danielle was a pleasure to work with throughout the process and we couldn't be happier. Anyone needing a wedding cake in the area should definitely consider using her services. (The cookies we sampled as part of the cake tasting were also out of this world).

We ordered eight dozen mini cupcakes, 3 dozen chocolate buttercream, 5 dozen vanilla buttercream all confetti cake with sprinkles. Total cost $366.87 or $3.82/min cupcake. I would guess four cupcakes might constitute a usual sized cupcake. If in fact these cupcakes were made by Danielle, she should pursue another career. The cupcakes tasted like Walmart bakery with a Wildflour Sweets sticker. Fortunately Secret Stash and Third Bowl were extraordinary so no one will remember the cupcakes except me. Unhappy and angry.

We got our daughter a birthday cake from Wildflower Sweets and it was beautiful. Perfect size, look, and price. We'll be back! And try the harvest cookie, yum!
