Lazydog Wines Garden - Cromwell

Visited here a few years ago with my friend. now we have a small family and often remember how beautiful the garden and wine tasting event we had gone! we had a pinot noir rose that was so delicious. Many thanks, from some British travelers looking for the real NZ wine experience, apologise this review has taken so long.

My review comes 2 years late. But if the owners can respond to a review from that long ago, so can I.Owners response"What readers of this review should be aware of is that were surprised you had opened a closed and bolted gate the open sign had been pulled behind the closed gate and this was in plain sight . Closed is Closed. Please respect the right of working people to finish their day in a timely manner This simply isn't true, there were multiple open signs, and definitely no chains, (it was around 1pm btw). But I applaud you for trying to make up some lies 2 years after the fact. It speaks volumes for your character.Accept that you may have been having an off customer service day. apologise (or ignore) and move on. Don't make up lies.

Excellent food and wine along with great staff who made us feel special

Fantastic! The service was excellent and the food was amazing. The wine selection was also great. I can't believe I haven't been here before. I highly recommend this restaurant.
