Masa Madre - Cuauhtémoc

One of the most delicious breakfasts I have ever had anywhere. Service a bit slow, understandable since the place was packed at 10 am. Coffee was perfect. The ham that accompanied my dish (croque? was the most delicious pork I have ever eaten. I highly recommend this place. Looking forward to returning for lunch.

Good breakfasts but the lunch/dinner and pastries are not to die for ... the bacon croissant was pretty nice at breakfast but we went back for a function later another day and the lunch food was not up to par nor were the pastries. Hit and miss.

It used to be a good place to have breakfast, but now it isn´t. Last sunday we went and the service was really bad, the food has nothing special, the french toast was awful and small. We asked for the french toast before our other plates, but everything came at the same time. Also a noisy TV was on, we asked for conditioner air but wasn´t working. Lalo! a great place 2 blocks away, make Masa Madre look worst that it is.

I've been to Masa Madre more than 10 times now and each time the food is delicious and I personally believe they offer the best coffee and bread in the neighbourhood. The bread is cooked on site and is a little expensive but worth it. The Passion MM sweet bread is to die for.

We were brought here by friends who live here and had enjoyed the previous branch. Staff were helpful and attentive. We enjoyed the pastries, Eggs Benedict, Huevos Divorciados and Scrambled Eggs all very good. Would definitely visit again.
