Visaggio's - Enola

I was excited to return to this restaurant. However, i was very disappointed. Filet mignon was extremely salty and of course overcooked. I ordered it medium rare and it had no pink. I would have asked for another filet that was not overdone, but waitress never came back until the rest of our party were finished with their meal. Shrimp stuffed with crab was overdone( shrimp were limp on the plate as though they were boiled) and the crab was like creamed soup. Seafood chowder tasted like canned soup with no seafood at all. Salad was fresh but nothing more than lettuce with tomato. Nothing was seasoned. Drinks were watered down. Very disappointed.

Love this restaurant. I travel a lot and take advantage of travel to try great places. I have the good fortune to live near this restaurant and rank it among the best Italian restaurants in the country. Run by the same family, I've been going for over 30 years. Home made (and excellent) pasta, sauces, and desserts. Always good service. They have a formal and casual area. Tuesdays are casual pasta night, pasta, meatball, sausage (or one of each) with salad, beverage, and a small pot au creme, for great price. Ate there tonight. Go...

Wonderful experience I ordered lasagna with sausage. The sausage melted in your mouth, I ordered from the grey menu a.k.a. the non-formal menu, which is a smaller portion and it took up the entire plate! The bread is homemade and they offer a pepper oil to dip with along with, a cheese mixture. We did not order desserts as we were really just too full. However, next time we will eat less and have take home so that we can enjoy the dessert. The owner, Rosemary, came around and greeted us and made us feel like we were at her personal home. Our server was her grandson. We definitely will be returning unfortunately I forgot to get my phone out to take pictures of my plate. I guess you’ll just have to go and see it for yourself!
