O'charley's Restaurant Bar - Cumming

I ordered online and intended to leave a tip in cash upon arrival, so I didn't add a tip to my card. However, when I checked my bill, I noticed an unexpected $7.49 charge for a tip, meaning I ended up tipping twice. The food was delicious but the portions were quite small. Unfortunately, the rolls were hard and seemed stale; it felt like they used old bread for takeout orders. If you decide to order online, I recommend calling ahead to request fresh bread if you enjoy it.

Jon was our server, and he was exceptional. He is polite, friendly, and has great manners. He anticipates our needs and is always quick to provide refills and anything else we might require. An outstanding guy!

As for the food, I think I may have ordered the wrong item. I have to give credit to the photographer—the picture of the mushroom and Swiss burger looked amazing. However, the actual burger did not live up to the expectations; it was overcooked and, to be honest, lacked flavor. I’d rate it a 2.5 out of 5. (I didn’t want to complain, though; I just mentioned it to the manager in a constructive way.) On a positive note, the atmosphere was definitely a 5-star experience. Thank you, Kyle, for making my visit to O’Charley’s enjoyable!

However, my main issue was with the cleanliness of the restrooms. After my meal, I regretted choosing this restaurant. The restrooms had a foul smell; two out of the three stalls were poorly maintained, and it looked like the toilet bowls hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. This raises significant concerns about the kitchen's hygiene and what might have ended up in our food. Even considering staff shortages, management needs to ensure that the restaurant meets basic cleanliness standards. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back.

We had a wonderful dining experience with some absolutely delicious food. I ordered a burger, and it was fantastic. My wife decided on a steak, which exceeded our expectations. What truly made our visit special was the exceptional service provided by Brett K. He was incredibly attentive, offered thoughtful recommendations, and made sure all our requests were met. We will definitely be asking for him the next time we come back!
