We tried the laksa and the chickens, both were great. the laksa was more authentic than chickens, but both were very tasty. the chicken was super juicy.

Excellent and authentic singapur eating! eating is extremely fresh and tasty and serves family style. if our family goes out to eat it, it usually costs over $200 when we're done. when we eat at merlion, it is almost always close to $100 and we have to eat at home! we love the muscles (also a happy hour item) with a fabulously delicious broth that can also be poured over the rice (we don't waste any drops) and the addictive salad fish dish, which the delicious crispy bug topping (can not remember what it is called) but it is perfect every time. I don't know if people realize what a great bar they have. the drinks prices are in the happy hour as well as the happy hour menu that fills very much. we try to go early when it is quiet and love that the cooking cooking station is open for the public to see how they work their magic. we have also had great meetings there and they are extremely accommodating and incredibly good value for such events. I highly recommend them.
