I’ve come to expect Taiwanese breakfast sandwiches to be barebones protein/veggie/mayo creations, but my 招牌經典燉肉 sandwich was surprisingly western tasting. Of the various components in the sandwich, it was the pickled cucumbers and mustard that brought me back home. The shredded pork’s seasoning tasted reminiscently like tex mex tacos, and the smoked ham, while not very nostalgic, was unobtrusive and bridged the mustard and shredded pork. Loved it and can’t wait to try their other sandwiches. On another note, the Taiwanese style pork cutlet, egg, and pickled cucumber sandwich with tonkotsu sauce was also good, but not as memorable. The radish cake was greasy and didn’t have a crisp crust. I preferred the bite of the glutinous rice ‘sausage,’ but only just barely. Both the farmer’s milk tea and oriental beauty milk tea were bland and tasted stronger of sugary milk than tea. 4 Enjoyed and will return regularly.
Ordered a chicken sandwich with mesh potato and a iced black tea! The toast is perfectly toasted and the flavor is so well balanced! One of the best breakfast place in the city. Have visited this place so many time. The coffee and other sandwiches are also pretty good!
Its toast is pretty tasty and has good place to enjoy your breakfast
Food taste wonderful! There is a line in the morning so you have to wait a while before they serve the food. Also, the place is quite small so you can always order take out and eat at the nearby park.
