Dae Jang Geum Tofu House - Daly City

The appetizers at this restaurant were great, and the Bibimbap was decent. However, I was a bit disappointed that they only served spicy stews with meat broth.

During my recent visit to the restaurant, the waitress told me that all of their tofu soups, including the vegetables, are made with beef broth. She suggested trying the vegetable bibimbap, which was delicious, but please be aware that it contains an egg yolk. (September 2022) Rating updated from previous visit on 2022-09-25.

The restaurant offers a fantastic vegetarian selection, such as spicy tofu soup and sizzling rice hot pot. The server was very accommodating in assisting with vegetarian choices and even provided a variety of complimentary appetizers.

Great veg option with the spicy tofu suppe and sizzling reis hot pot. the server was helpful when looking for vegetarian options, including the many free appetizers.
