It was a happy hour and we decided to sit on the terrace. We saw 3 different people bringing menus, water and some lime before we saw our waiter. He ran like crazy and tried to maintain. After ordering drinks and waiting for another 10 minutes to watch how they run from table to table with the time to stop for us, we asked to be moved up into the dining room in the hope of better service. We were. Our new waiter was very friendly as the manager who was seen to talk to guests and servers to make sure everything went smoothly. We ordered an appetizer, the crabs beignets. They were wonderful!! I'd really recomend her. We shared Clam Chowder, who was also phenomenal. Only the problem we have was when the main ridge dinner was delivered, it was well done, dry and hard instead of medium rare as ordered. We asked the waiter about it, and he argued that it was medium rare (combating with customers is a huge animal peive). Steak is easy to recognize from the website as well as the feeling of meat and that was shoe leather. The meal was new and came out perfectly and tasted wonderful. If we come back, we would definitely return to this restaurant. Staff problems may have been a unique problem, and the manager seems to be in control. Good food and great views!
Beautiful view friendly service salmon was not expected with butter sauce and overwhelmed the taste people were awesome friendly made for all short coming
Happy Hour ever!!!. My wife and I ate here for Happy Hour and we were amazed! The food was incredible, very cost-effective and the service was fantastic. Outside on the terrace completes the dinner experience. Stop here and enjoy the Happy Hour, the Calamari and coconut shrimp are outfits among many wonderful choices!
This was a great seafood restaurant with seating that essentially hang on the cliff. Great view of the port and sunset colors the boats. After the darkness, the port is illuminated, which is a different view itself. Lobster Bisque was one of the better ones I ever had, and the steak and swordfish were both made very good. Definitely a place to check out.
Last night's event went off without a hitch. Lisa and Greg plus the entire waitstaff/kitchen were on point for the (early) birthday celebration party put on by the South Coast Detachment Marine Corps League in honor of the 243rd Marine Corps Birthday. I will miss Cannon's and wish the best for the planned boutique hotel and will always treasure the memories had there.
