Mill Plain Diner - Danbury

It's surprising to see the variety of reviews for this restaurant. We arrived early on a Friday evening for dinner and were promptly seated. We were quickly served water and asked for our drink orders. My burger was cooked perfectly, the fries were crispy and hot, and the coleslaw was fresh with pickles. The portion sizes were large. My wife's turkey burger was topped with a spicy sauce and Slaw, and her sweet potato fries were perfectly cooked with a generous portion. The restaurant was spotlessly clean.

We visited the restaurant and the sign outside said, "We serve large coffee, yes!". The diner was very clean with decor that was reminiscent of the 1950s. The service was exceptional and they offered free coffee refills. We highly recommend trying their pancakes.

Yesterday for lunch, the host was not welcoming or charismatic at all. I asked him if he could move me to a different table because there were girls at the table next to me being loud and I wanted to enjoy my meal in peace. He seemed indifferent and wanted to sit me in front of them, but I insisted on sitting on the other side. Also, the music was very dull and boring, not like the lively tunes they used to play at the old windmill.

The endaname quinoa salad is fresh, healthy and delish. Our waitress was politely friendly!

A decent amount of parking. Place is very clean food is reasonably priced staff is very courteous. I cannot speak for all the dishes but what I ordered was very good.
