Country Haven Event Center - Danwood

Had my husband birthday party here it was lots of fun .

If you want an off the beaten path place for a drink, this is it. Big room for events and bands...small town bar vibe on the other side. Great stop for bike and Jeep runs, or just a nice place to stop on an afternoon country drve.

Went to drag bingo last night. Went to get a drink with my friend and the line was wrapped up to the bathroom. They had one bartender Nicole. So my friend and I offered to help to get her caught up we both are bartenders but never there) Nicole says yes. We get busy doing as much as we can and get the line down and then Jill Boone shows up and flips out that we are back there helping but let’s us until the line gets down and then tells Nicole to get us out from behind the bar. NO THANK YOU! Nicole did give are drinks to us. Then when my friend went back up there to get another drink the owner Jill and Nicole said here and gave her 53.00 and you can keep it or split with your friend, claiming I was rude to the customers. I CAN TELL YOU NOW THAT I WAS NOT RUDE TO A SINGLE CUSTOMER! As I matter of fact at the end of the night one of your customer stopped and thanked me and said she was about to leave because she had waited 40 min. Word of mouth goes along way and that customer was a nurse practitioner and I’m a instructor. Word of advice kindness matters. When for drag show bingo, the show was great. The Venue is large and would be great for a wedding reception. The girls at the bar seemed a bit overwhelmed, there should be a better pizza menu. They had a little chalkboard with 2 pizza sizes and the price. I asked what kind of pizza they had and was told whatever you want. It would be so much better if there was a list of specialty pizzas and the toppings they have. The pizza was good! Should definitely take your name or give you a number so they can find you when your pizza is done.

Anyone who is looking for a fun venue with great people, go to Country Haven! Everyone was awesome! So easy to work with and super fun! Eric and his crew nailed everything I had asked for. DJ was awesome and nobody even had to request music from him! I would recommend Country Haven to anyone! I’m sad it’s over
