Vesuvio - Darlington

The food at this restaurant was absolutely delicious, the best I've had in a while. Our party of nine all thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Personally, I had the cheese soufflé and the lamb, both of which were superb. The soufflé was flavorful and the lamb was cooked to perfection, incredibly tender and melted in your mouth. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

I went for dinner on Saturday evening. Nath prepares delicious food at a great value. If you're not a fan of wine, the bar also offers a variety of gins and continental beers.

I absolutely loved the food at this restaurant...I'm really disappointed that the owners decided to close it down. If they ever decide to open a new place, we will definitely be regulars.

Fantastic staff and atmosphere and mr and mrs Wagstaff frequent this fine establishment ..makes the difference x
