Second Cup - Dartmouth

The staff at this restaurant were incredibly kind even though they were clearly overwhelmed!! The cashier was multitasking by taking orders from both the drive-thru and inside, as well as making drinks. As someone who has worked at McDonald's before, I know how challenging that can be. However, I am still giving them 5 stars because the drinks were amazing and the staff was extremely friendly.

Today I went to this restaurant for coffee. None of the staff made eye contact with us as we stood at the cash register, so we decided to leave. The drive-thru seemed to be the priority over customers inside the store. I do not plan on returning.

My husband attempted to order a coffee for me at this establishment, only to be ridiculed and embarrassed by the person at the drive-thru because of his English. He is still learning the language, and it is not acceptable for anyone to belittle and mock him. English is not his first language, and I suspect that the lady only speaks English. It is disgraceful to have individuals like this serving customers. I do not recommend going there if English is not your first language, as you may be mocked and criticized for your language skills. I would give this establishment 0 stars if possible.

Awful Service. Ordered in the drive through, we got to the window and the lady had no idea what we ordered (2 smoothies and a Italian soda) and she had to ask several times with a terrible attitude, they forgot to ring in one of the drinks and they didn’t respond nice when I told them. Plus a very long wait time. First and last time to this place.

Great coffee, great treats, great people, fantastic chai latte! People are always friendly and it is truly the secret ingredient that brings Second Cup to another level. Thanks so much and we will be seeing ya soon :
