El Rancho Grande Mexican

I took my 15-year-old daughter out for her birthday, but our experience was incredibly disappointing due to the rude service we encountered. While we were waiting for a table at the bar, the bartender acknowledged my presence but chose to serve men who arrived after us. Once we were finally seated, our waitress was unprofessional and unfriendly. My daughter requested a small modification to her dish, but despite two attempts, it was still incorrect, and the server seemed visibly annoyed with me. In the end, my daughter was so upset that she just wanted to leave. We've lived in this beach town for 10 years and work in the same industry, where I know the importance of treating customers well. I can be patient and understanding, but given this experience, I have no intention of returning and will happily share our unfortunate dining experience with others.

I’m a big fan of Mexican cuisine, and this restaurant does it exceptionally well. They offer a fantastic cheese appetizer called chili con queso, which features delicious melted cheeses served in a bowl alongside soft tortillas. The guacamole is outstanding—very fresh and flavorful. The chips and salsa are abundant and quite tasty. Plus, they serve an amazing margarita. I highly recommend this place!
