They had fans, but it didn't help much, so they rated a 4 otherwise they would have rated a 5.
Good food with very polite staff. : Just wish you could have describe the menu options as not many people know some dishes. It was amazing went there with my family . staff are very nice and food was amazing
A hidden gem, nestled in a corner of the Palm Jumeirah, Asia kitchen is perfect for a Friday brunch, with a good view of the turquoise blue waters along the palm. The Asian brunch started off with some crispy prawn crackers , a tangy ginger bok choy and green salad the zesty tingle from the lemon and ginger in this salad was really good , and shrimp tempura with a selection of dips kudos for the low oil content . We also tasted the chicken wontons in soy sauce and ended up having seconds, a definite recommend. For mains, we had the ceylon chicken curry, the vegetable fried rice and the kung Pao chicken, which was easily the highlight, with it's generous cashew garnish and the chicken cooked just right, which went along really well with the vegetable fried rice. Among the drinks, the passion fruit mojito was the best. The restaurant is licensed as well, for a relaxing afternoon drink by the beach. The interiors are tastefully done, evoking a south Asian street food feels and with ample interior as well as exterior seating, this is worth a visit. The staff were very attentive and courteous, taking the time to explain each and every dish.
We went on Friday for their Family Brunch and had a good time. The setup is really nice, as some of the seats are right on the sand overlooking the beach, some outside the restaurant and there is indoor seating too. We were started off with a platter of starters, of which the calamari (spicy! and the prawn tempura was yum. We then ordered from the main courses and got the Green Curry (really nice and the sweet and sour prawn. For dessert they offer brownie which we didnt get to try. They also have fresh juices and soft drinks in the non alcoholic package. They had some interesting ice cream cones which the kids and I enjoyed. The entertainment for the kids was great, with a bouncing castle, magic act and face painting. I am sure the place looks even more amazing at night with the fairy lights.
We had our family brunch here yesterday and it was such a wonderful experience. My husband and I enjoyed everything that was served food, drinks and desserts. The starters (which included mixed tempuras, wonton, prawn crackers and spring rolls with different choices of dip) were phenomenal. my daughter who would often get bored while eating out was well entertained with activities like face painting, balloon shaping and magic show. Playing out with the sand at the sea shore was such a bonus to her. She kept coming back for prawn crackers and tempura. We had Thai chicken curry, sweet and sour prawns and chicken Shanghai noodles for the main. Such great authentic Asian selection. The Asian fruit with ice cream for dessert was such a treat as we ate it on a sofa facing the sea. It was an indeed unforgettable family dining experience on a perfect Dubai weather.
