Avoid this restaurant at all costs. The minor employees are underpaid and overworked, and the food is not worth the hype. Stay far away from this place.
Took a hour for my food and forgot my ice cream(very rude and unprofessional employees)
I was waiting for my food for almost a half an hour and when I got the Dodd it was the wrong order and that was my last time ordering from there.
I discovered Dearborn's Desserts and Eats on Instagram even before opening. Last Friday was their grand opening. I got to visit the next day.Even though I was excited to try, I thought, will this place be different than other places that sells these similar foods? (Keep reading to find out.)Dearborn's Desserts and Eats is located at the Peacock Indian Cuisine spot. But the sign on the door is large enough that you won't miss this place as you walk by.Akaash is the owner. He explained through the menu items and recommended me some popular dishes. So I had to try their chicken and rice and the lava cake!Akaash and the team works hard to make things fresh and tasty all under $10. When I took a bite of the chicken and rice dish, my mind was blown. The yellow rice was so light and fluffy and the chicken was so tender. Although Akaash wouldn't tell me how the sauce is made, it did have a spicy kick to it but paired so well with the whole bite. As for the fries, it tasted even better. I love fries but this was on a whole new level; super crispy and special sauce. And don't forget about the lava cake. Lava cake takes around 20 minutes to make because it is baked fresh. A bite of the lava cake with the chocolate spilling from inside plus vanilla ice cream, it definitely was one of the best lava cakes I have ever had.I know that there are a lot of good places to eat in Dearborn but if you are in the area, I would definitely recommend checking this place out! I will be back to try other items on the menu!
