El Rodeo Mexican - Decatur

Have been going to this place since it opened over 20 or so years ago. I have never once had a bad meal or service! It is excellent!

Freaking amazing one of the best Mexican restaurants I think I've been to and I'm a huge fan of Mexican food yeah this place is a gem and you should definitely eat there staff is super friendly food arrived in a timely fashion restaurant was clean and food was amazing!

Brought in a small group and got a seat instantly. The salsa and chips were excellent and the lunch options were plentiful. One of the people I was with got the steak fajitas and they looked amazing. I’ll get that next time I go.

Still great Mexican food. Very large portions and clearly a favorite in town due to the crowd. I have the fajitas Cozumel which has chicken, beef shrimp and chorizo with pineapple. Delicious. I recommend this place for a good affordable Mexican dinner.

Oh what a great outing tonight! With less than 48 hours before the entire state of Illinois is locked down in regards to dine in eating at restaurants. Everyone and their cousins were eating out tonight. There was a lineup to get into the restaurant I was at shortly after I arrived. Great food, great portions, fantastic service and mind blowing low prices. The server brought me a to go box even let me take a whole basket of chips and good sized container of salsa on top of all my leftovers. I had some high end seafood Fajitas with shrimp and scallops along with all the usual onions and peppers etc. It also included a second plate which contained the rice, beans, lettuce, sour cream, Gaucamole and Pico de gallo. Bottomless Glass of Pepsi. Hell!, he even brought me yet another Pepsi in a Styrofoam cup with lid to go with my leftovers, chips and salsa. Whole thing cost less than 14 USD. I gave him 21 bucks USD so 50% tip. I also gave him a Canadian loonies, quarter, dime and nickel as well. Lol! It was beyond just a meal it was a remarkable experience to savour. I hope to return here at some point in the future when eat in dining is restored again to try something else on the menu!
