Laurin Pasta & Pizza - Deggendorf

Excellent Italian food, with an occasional German twist in this friendly restaurant overlooking the River Danube. If you want an outside table on a busy night, book ahead as it is very popular. All the food is good and the pizzas are huge, so think about whether you might want to share one between two. They also do a takeaway service which seems very popular with the local students.

If you like pizza Laurin should be your go to place if you are in Deggendorf. Honestly don't understand why this restaurant hasn't got higher ratings. The pizzas are HUGE, not expensive and are very tasty. So good that it actually transported us to Italy for a bit. What I liked was that when you can't finish your pizza (almost no one can) you can take the leftovers with you so nothing goes to waste. We took the leftover pizza with us to Hungary, warmed it up in the oven and it was still very good! The beers we ordered to go with our pizza's were great too. Waiters were very nice and spoke good English. We sat outside on their lovely terrace which has nice views of the park and the Danube. If we were ever to visit Deggendorf again we would make sure to return.

You can eat there really good. I can recommend their pizza. They prepare it fresh and live. Also there noodles are pretty well but in my mind their pizza is better and bigger.
