Wild Bubba's Wild Game Grill

The F1 Burger!. Okay... if you're ready to type in your Man -vs- Food Gene, then you need to try the F1 Burger at Wild Bubba's Wild Game Grill in Elroy Texas. This is a Carnavores pleasure with a full pound of beef, bbq sauce, pickles and onions. I must say it was the best burger I've ever eaten and it needed a little strategy to consume this wild animal. If you are on it, Wild Bubba will build a special wild version with antelope, Yak and Wild Boar!

Wonderful food and a really interesting menu. The Spielburgers are a little more expensive than the Chainburger joints (the highest price was $12-$13), but are worth all the penny and the trip. My husband ate two and a half burgers and I ate one and a half. They are big burgers, but we just couldn't stop eating them were so good!!!

Excellent. I found this place through a friend. It is *real* shady looking, in an old gas station, not much parking, but man the burgers are fantastic! Their speciality is exotic meat including buffalo, cabrito, antelope, arachvenison, elk, kangaroo, elk with bear and yak! I tried the Wagyu Hamburger with rings. The burger was great. Not over cooked, and very tasty. I also tried the Wagyu Chili, who was in the top 3 chili I've ever eaten outside my own house. Others in my party had the axis venison and the buffalo chicken sandwich. Everyone was happy with their food. Wild Bubba came to our table to check our food and we need to talk about the different meat he offers. He was friendly enough to extract some samples of any kind of meat and explain the differences. Super cool guy. I wasn't really impressed by the onion rings, they seemed greasy, but the fries were good. When I go back, I order Pommes. This place is a small trip from the city, but worth the trip.
