They were very accommodating with our seating (we were a group of 7) and the wait staff was incredibly friendly. The food was fantastic and the pickle bar (which is by donation to St Judes) was really cool. They even sang Happy Birthday to the Birthday Girl for us. We have been there a few times and have absolutely loved everything we have eaten!! If you are looking for a great meal at a decent price, get away from the chain restaurants and give them a try, you won't be disappointed!!
Food was average. Nothing special about it. Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture about the best thing. If you come definitely get the wings, those are a 5/5. Overall everything else was okay. Cool decorations and energy.
As soon as I sat down I noticed no sexy buff dudes anywhere to be found, I thought it was a gay bar so I was already sad. So I ordered up a burger and it tasted like straight a like some burger that got whipped up on broke back mountain and Ricky Bobby hit it with the shocker. Then the Fries weren't even crispy and hard I love when my fires are hard I suck the oil out of them. Then to top it off this place just sucks my shits come out more gourmet then this place can whip up.
This is our first visit to this place and Im pleasantly surprised. The decor is clean and rustic; very welcoming. Our server Riley was on point. We were seated quickly and she was very polite and explained the menu very well. The concept is unique. First off, they have a soda bar with all these different flavors that can be mixed and matched. I had the pomegranate berry which was great. They also had a pickle bar where all proceeds go to charity. A great variety. The very spicy chips were dynamite especially with the pickled ginger carrot. Our meals were phenomenal. Its mostly upscale sandwiches, very delicious and unique. Shout out to the sweet potato fries and dip. Their brisket is juicy and flavorful. Best brisket around. For dessert my dinner guest and I shared an apple turnover with homemade vanilla ice cream and whipped cream with caramel sauce. Ridiculously amazing. We were impressed. Will go back again.
Mountain Dudes Good Food is a restaurant in Phillipsburg, NJ that specializes in American cuisine. They are located inside the Pohatcong Plaza right off of US 22. This is one of the restaurants I found out about through social media. Everything was good, but I expected it to be better. I came in here with very high expectations. First things first. In order to get a table you must make a reservation. You can do over the phone or on their website. The phone number is 908 386 3488 and their website is [hidden link]. The menu isn't very big, but I didn't have a hard time finding something I would enjoy. I ended up ordering The Big Twist, Bacon Mac, and the Mountaineer Burger. All pretty darn good. There is a soda bar and pickle bar available if that's something you're interested in. The soda bar has 17 different options, so I'm sure you can find something you like. The pickle bar is complimentary, but they ask you to donate $3 or $5 to St. Judes. Curbside pick up and delivery are available if that's what you prefer.
