It was about 3pm so it wasn't too crowded. Our waitress was wonderful and we ordered pizza and salad. The salad was very good but the pizza was the best we've had in years. The BBT is one of those rare places that haven't changed and hopefully won't. Whether or not you live in the area it's a great place to share a meal and/or drinks and get the feel of old Denver!
The pizza is delicious! Your missing out if you haven't tried Bonnie Brae's. It is an historic Colorado institution since 1934.
I ordered the Buffalo wings for $17 from this restaurant. They were listed as one of the favorites on the menu, but it was a huge mistake. The wings were absolutely terrible – they were mostly bones with a tiny amount of meat at the tip. It was like 90% bone and 10% meat. I reluctantly took a bite and immediately regretted it. The meat was tough and the flavor was far from Buffalo sauce, it tasted burnt. I could have gotten 2 dozen wings from Buffalo Wild Wings for the same price. These so-called chicken wings were a complete disappointment.
My sister and I ordered take out from here this past Saturday. The lady that answered my call and took my order was super friendly and nice! We ordered the tacos, burrito and a BLT. Everything was delicious although the chili could be hotter on the burrito. The salsa had a perfect bite to it and so we added to the burrito. The tacos were good and the BLT was delicious! The bacon was cooked perfectly. We will definitely be back!
Great place to have a girls day out for happy hour!!
