Our Second visit to La Polpetta. My dish was excellent. My fiance's Chicken Saltabucca was dry, hard to cut the chicken, bland taste, disappointing. Cost to eat went up substantially from a year ago. The menu was a Valentines menu we were told. We were expecting to view their meatballs on the menu, they were missing. Main reason we went to the restaurant. Its BYOB, which is great. Everything on the menu was Al la Cart, We an appetizer. No bread accompanied our meal, a first when eating at an Italian restaurant for us. The value wasn't worth it. I spent with tip $71.71 and we had our own wine.
We went for valentines dinner with our 11 year old daughter, and we all loved everything! Even though it was busy, service was great and food was amazing. We will be back very soon.
La Polpetta is a small very casual place and has great food and service. The lobster bisque special and the short ribs were outstanding. The place could use a little upgrades, especially by replacing the metal chairs and some new tables perhaps, but the food and service are so worth giving this place a try.
Food was good. For the prices they charge, a small salad or bread should have been included and appreciated. Unfortunately, this will be the last time we eat at La Polpetta.
