True Respite Brewing Company - Derwood

Had been about a year since our last visit, glad we stopped by again. They have nice selection of beer on tap, great staff, and a nice location.

Recently visited and had a variety of beers and everyone in the group had also indicated that their beers weren't as cold; not sure if it was because the high temperatures and their fridges were unable to keep it as cold as they normally would. That didn't stop us from enjoying the flavors of their beers. Will definitely come back.

Great beer, community and friendship. This is why we keep coming back to True Respite. In the 5 years since their opening this little local gem has done a great job of being a center for locals to gather by putting on events like Makers Markets with live music, having a variety of food trucks to feed the hungry patrons and always having a good spread of known and reliable, as well as new and exciting beers to sample. Keep up the good work!

I went here a few months ago for the first time. It was a beautiful day and packed.The inside space is large and lots of room to sit including bar seating.There was a large draft menu to choose from. The staff was nice but it was busy so they weren’t very chatty.I did not like how the staff did not explain that the live music I heard was in the back and how to access it. They pretty much acted as if it didn’t exist. There was a huge shaded tent out back and even a pour station.There was a decent amount of to go beer too which I like to see in breweries.

Really enjoyed this brewery located between Rockville and Gaithersburg.I had heard of the Big 'Ol Chocolate Fudge Stout and since I was nearby I figured I 'd give it a try....excellent stout beer but limited supply....get it while you can
