Wahlburgers - Des Moines

Delicious chicken burger with just the right size for it to be enough but not too much, a generous portion of fries included... I added Swiss cheese and made it perfect! Paired it with a Des Moines IPA and was the perfect match. Service was great, felt like home.

Was just ok. A bit disappointing actually (my first time here). I had a burger and sweet potato tater tots. The burger was just average. The tater tots were so sweet they tasted like sugar had been added.

As we sat down we said hi to the workers they choose to just stare at us and when you walk in the door from the outside it says please seat yourself. There was no clean booths and I?m very disappointed. Leaving your rag and spray bottle out for any one to grab is not safe nor should customers be looking at your spray bottle that you should have taken with the 4 times you walked out and saw us ???? I am very disappointed.

We were in town for a couple nights and we are very happy we stopped in. The food was amazing! However, the bartender was not wanting to be there. She constantly reminded us she is leaving at 9pm and not a second later. She was nice but not good for repeat business.

After watching the t.v. shows on A&E for many years and wondering what the food is like and it was very good. Little on the pricey side but that was to be expected from a famous restaurant chain like Wahlburgers. The burger was good, and the fries come in a wire basket. Never had fries served to me like that. Picked up a hat and shirt for souvenirs. Don't know when l will go to a Wahlburgers again but I'm going to try another burger and give a review. Go to a Wahlburgers and try for yourself.
