Dairy Queen Store - Detroit Lakes

We stopped here for a quick lunch- and thought it was a fairly safe bet since Dairy Queen is everywhere. However, I was served raw chicken. After bringing it to the attention to the manager, he tried explaining to my husband that because the chicken strips come in frozen and thick, they can stick together and this sometimes happens. This is ridiculous- that’s why you don’t overflow the fryer, shake the basket, and leave the basket down for a specific time. The manager seemed very lost to the fact that raw chicken is very dangerous and seemed shocked when we wanted a refund on the order. No sincere apologies or concern. Edit I did follow the little link that was suggested. Received an automated type of response. Still zero follow up.

Every time I come here my toast is never toasted, it is literally just buttered bread. How hard is it to put the bread in the toaster? They also literally gave me a total of 12 fries in my chicken strip basket, when I spend 9 dollars on a chicken strip basket you better give me some fries . Please start toasting your toast for once, the toast is literally the best part of a chicken strip basket, so maybe learn how to use a toaster?

We ordered a Happy Birthday Jesus cake for Christmas and DQ did an amazing job decorating the cake. Absolutely the best Christmas cake ever !!!

The staff were not very interactive but were not rude either. The food was really good!
