Maty’s African Cuisine - Detroit

I had the fried half chicken combo. I definitely slept on this place. I mean this chicken was falling off the bone tender. The rice and vegetables and onions were on point too. Im definitely going to be back.

The food was flavorful, good with decent pricing. The customer service is good. The only issue was the place was not heated well (winter time). Also try the Ginger drink! Definitely different but worth the price.

I had the Chicken Yassa w/ Vermicelle and it was so delicious! The meat was tender, juicy and full of flavor. The vermicelle was good as well. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Great ambience and service. Clean! Excellent food. You must experience Senegal in Detroit. The red snapper is seasoned to perfection! I would definitely go again
