Taqueria El Rey - Detroit

I love this place! The tacos are so fresh and authentic. Every time I go, I get a margarita, tacos and half BBQ chicken (which comes with rice and beans). Food is very affordable. They won't be disappointed. This is also a single bar restaurant.

I tried the chicken tacos, shrimp tacos, and they were both deliciously spiced and not dry. Your Salsas are authentic and delightful! We also tried fried chicken and it was amazing! You have the best margaritas here. The first time here and not the last. It's hard to find a real Mexican restaurant and that's one of the best I found in Michigan. 6/24/21

Not much to say that this has never been repeated a thousand times. Excellent burritos, amazing smoked chicken, solid ribs. Cantarito is top notch, good selection of beer and tequila. I miss this place especially.

Today was only our second time to eat here, and just like the first, AMAZING sweet grill chicken dinner! I recommend the chicken!

The perfect taco shop. Outstanding tacos made hot and fresh. Great margaritas with fast friendly service. Wrap it all up with an affordable price. This place is a gem.
