Chose this place based on google results, but don’t let the flowers and nice seating lure you in like we did. If you’re looking for a place to take nice pictures come here! If you’re looking for a well done brunch, and good service GO ELSEWHERE . So many disappointing things I could say about the service but I’ll stick to what was served. First, we were told we can’t order regular coffee with cream and sugar; so we got some coffee drink the waitress said would be the next best thing…Super bitter, couldn’t drink it so we asked the waitress for sugar but we waited forever and all she came back with was the bill. Prior to that, she refilled my glass with tap water mixing it with the 13 “Still Water” I had already had in my cup did not replace it defeating the point of paying 13 for still water in the first place… but she left it on the bill of course) . Finally , I Had Chicken and waffle, the best part was the waffle. The chicken was undercooked but edible, and instead of bacon it came with this raw ham that made me nauseous on the spot. Dirty glasses, limited options, poor service, and rushed food quality; I can appreciate a bill for a fine dining experience BUT this time we might as well have gone to a local Coney Island for something better. What a waste :

This place was very nicely decorated, it all looks very opulent and expensive, the service is very attentive, even met the owner! On of the most spectacular places in downtown Detroit, a must visit!

So disappointed in our visit for Mothers Day. Took over an hour and a half to get our entrees for 3 guests. Over 20 minutes to receive our lattes. When we requested to speak with management, it took them 15 minutes to come and speak with us and all we received was an “I’m sorry” with no effort to make it right. When the manager agreed to take off the entrees after waiting an hour and a half after ordering to receive them, he brought back the bill and said absolutely nothing. None of the staff looked at us the whole time we were waiting. It was an awful experience and while the ambience is great, it’s not worth the terrible service you will receive there.

Today was a horrible experience for Mother’s Day. 30 mins after reservation was pushing it but Im like okay it is Mother’s Day. But 2 hr. Wait for food is unacceptable. Once food was delivered it was such a disappointment. I’ve had better food at McDonald’s. I love to spend money on great food but the food was overpriced and the overall experience was very disappointing. Drinks were good, that’s what kept me pleasant.

We made a mother day's reservation over a month ago. We were preparing to take our mother to a special event. We were told this is a very nice place. We dressed up and got ready to leave to our 5:30 pm appointment.Surprise, surprise they called and told us our reservation is delayed at least two hours.They claimed they were short on staff!Absolutely unacceptable on this special day to ruin our plans like this.Horrible management skills and complete lack of any consideration for the time and well being of their clients.
