Feedback gevenWine brough open and just put on the table (no tasting . After 2h we only got 1 of 3 apertizers and a second appetizer came later. We told the waiter we would leave because the wait was way too long. His reply was just: ok and left. He came back after a few minutes with the check and put it on the table like here is your check . We were speechless. We spoke to the owner who negated that had to wait for hours. Foodwise: The mussels were ok, but the second appetizer unedible. Hard squids and very bad anchovies, that we didn 't eat. The check was hand written without and details (is this even legal? and the amount exactly 90eu. We won 't return.
The venue is simply spectacular a period farmhouse amidst luscious orchards and gardens, secluded and oh, so romantic. Our compliments to the owners who also manage the restaurant. Coming to the food, the thing we appreciated most was the delightfully cooling sangria. We have nothing to say about the rest of the courses, they were the usual dishes you can taste anywhere in the region, from the first to the main (fish) course. Nothing to write home about. But plenty of wonderful atmosphere and that can make one's night out.
This is not the first time we went to the restaurant, I never been in charge of the selection or organization of the menu but I always enjoyed it. We always had a fish based menu and the selection, quantity and quality has been outstanding. This time what has impressed me was the apple cake. Not sure if this sia the standard but it was very good and. Nothing was left behind. The place is lasso worth going.
The chef è a person molto gentile and competent. servizio veloce e impeccabile, environment caldo e accogliente.
Amazing experience and franco the chef is also really beautiful. you can't really choose to eat, but let him know your preferences and he'll know what to do!
