Mains both good quality and well presented and a delicious raspberry croquant and chocolate plate followed a cheese platter. All in all a very enjoyable experience and would recommend.
The decor of this restaurant didn't much appeal from the outside but the menu did so we thought we'd give it a chance. So glad we did! We had the cheapest menu as although there were only, I think, 3 choices per course, there was...plenty we liked the sound of. I forget exactly what our starters were but I know they were good. Mains were cod and rabbit, beautifully presented and delicious. The pear crumble we finished with was excellent. The cost for the food was very reasonable for the standard; the wine was a little pricey, but good. Young and enthusiastic staff who made us very welcome.
We were impressed by the new facility and were looking forward to coming back after the years. the bill was e135. the main course of the fish seemed to have come from the freezer, and was tasteless. the waiter was very efficient and polite.
It is not always easy to eat on Sunday night and L’Auberge du pelican was open. but demanding children on another table and loud heating tubes did not give for a very relaxing meal. the food was good, but the helpers were...small and eating was quite expensive for what we had. fortunate we had only one cure and their most expensive bottle, which was medium white wine.
Bad service, they forgot an order, they served us with gaseous water that had lost gas the muscles were too cooked.
