Feedback gevenWe stumbled across this bar one evening. Having now had a few drinks outside, it started to rain so we dashed inside and found a really lovely bar with a few tables for eating. We chatted with the owner, who explained that she came from Lyon and was not accepted as a bar owner in Dinan. However, we felt she deserved a boost of good luck as she's lovely. We decided to have lunch..just one dish on the menu, and she took us into the kitchen to see what it was. It was very nice and we had a lovely bottle of Muscadet with it. It's a shame this was our last day in Dinan, but will definitely go again next time..
Bonne adresse
Stopped off here for a glass of wine and a coffee. Service was slow while the owner chatted with his mates. The coffee was overcharged compared to the price on their tariff, and arrived with stone cold milk. The wine was pretty bad. We won't be back. There are better alternatives.
Sometimes you just want a beer, and some places are better than other places to have a beer, for me, Le Club is one of those places.I can't review it as a dining experience as I never ate there. If you like a beer, amiability and simplicity, give it a go, seek it out.It is small, it is authentically French, if a tourist drops in, or sits outside it, they treat them as normal, there is no pretence, no fussing, you order a beer, you get a beer. On two occasions they gave us a couple of what they called 'tapas' free of charge. I don't know if that is standard practise, but we appreciated it.In a tourist town, albeit a very good and interesting town, with lots to do, Le Club represents reality.I liked that.
