Situated in the center of Guwahati, this restaurant offers authentic Assamese cuisine at affordable prices. However, it is recommended to use a ride-sharing service like Uber or Ola due to the limited parking space available on the street.

The restaurant is situated on the first floor of a building on a busy main road, but there are signs making it easy to locate. The ambience is lacking, but the food is delicious, especially the small fish khorikaa. The pork in bamboo shoot dish had more fat than meat, but the gravy was tasty. My husband enjoyed the Chitol fish. The pricing is reasonable, but the service could be improved.

This place serves the best Assamese cuisines and anyone can vouch for it. It is located within the main city of Guwahati, on the Guwahati-Shillong road, so no one can miss it. The service is quick, food is excellent, portions are generous...I spent 45 mins finishing my thaali. Lots of fishes and pork dishes available to choose from. Lovely experience.

A place which serves authentic assamees food. The place was jam packed, somehow got a place. Once you give the order be assured that its gonna take atleast 30 min to come to you because of the rush.I ordered a thali and a green coloured fish dish, sorry dont remember the name.I was spell bound by that fish curry. Never had a fish curry like that ever before. The thali was simple, less spicy and the taste was out of this world. Just loved it and I could find that authentic desi style aloo bharta also.It was a great experience and would like to go again and again.
