Dömitzer Hafen - Doemitz

We spent a night in the harbour hotel last summer. The ambience is beautiful. When I grew up in Dömitz, it surprises me again and again what the owner of the multi-dorf brewhouse made from this corner of Dömitz. Sandy beach, palm trees and a large hotel that is lovingly furnished. The hotel rooms resemble the rooms of a ship, are very clean and well maintained. The rooms are only removed for ventilation. Unfortunately, the hotel has no air conditioning, which was very difficult to wear this summer. Dinner was good for the price. The breakfast buffet in the Panoramacafé (a beautiful view) was also very rich. Unfortunately, the best food and the most beautiful room does not use anything if the staff has not been selected accordingly. At the reception you feel that kindness is not necessarily on the agenda. You can have a bad day, but if it concerns several and then even in the hotel industry, it is more disadvantageous. During breakfast we were also served by untrained restaurant staff, because if there was something else on it, just don't do it. We have heard from several that the staff is unfortunately always the same, which is not least because it changes very often due to working conditions. The service therefore leaves a bad aftertaste for this weekend.

My family and I stayed there last year in summer and spent some nights there. I find the hotel beautiful the rooms are spacious and the care is great both at check-in and check-out. All staff are friendly. The food is great and also the service. The small beach with pool is the highlight for children. I felt the days there very well.
