The open-plan design and main bar area were great for our large group of about 30 guests. The food was excellent, with a delicious shrimp starter and salmon entrée. The highlight of the venue was the breathtaking view of the ocean. The service was exceptional, making for a memorable night. I look forward to returning for the 50th reunion.
This restaurant in Bundoran, Ireland, is by far the best I have ever visited. My boyfriend and I went there in April 2014 while on vacation, and we were blown away by the stunning view of the Atlantic ocean from the large windows. The service was exceptional, making us feel like VIPs. We started with cocktails at the bar before being seated at a window table and treated to a complimentary scallop starter. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful, showing a clear passion for their work and going above and beyond for their guests. It was the first time I felt compelled to leave a generous tip. The food prepared by the chef was outstanding. I opted for the monkfish dish, which was the best I have ever had, cooked to perfection with a delicious nut-based sauce that I can still taste. My boyfriend's sirloin steak was also cooked perfectly. I highly recommend this restaurant!
