Dunkerley's - Dover

My friend and I had a fantastic Christmas celebration at Dunkerleys this week. The 3-course Christmas meal was great value and the food was excellent with generous portion sizes. The wine selection was also impressive and reasonably priced. The restaurant had a lively atmosphere and the service was friendly and professional. Overall, we were very impressed and had a wonderful evening.

Amazing food. One of the best restaurants I've ever been to. Fish was incredible. Service was excellent. If going to Deal a must do.

Gone downhill ! Lovely sunny day so stopped for a swift half. Waited for a while and no one came to take our order so went inside to get drinks ourself. Tables left uncleared from last occupant and when I asked for a straw was told rather abruptly we’ve run out ! Area was dirty and tables tatty rotten wood Will not be going back

I have dined at the delightful restaurant numerous times, but tonight, after a long day of driving, I was famished and wanted a quick, simple meal and a pint. The sausage and mashed potatoes with onion gravy from the bar menu was absolutely delicious, paired perfectly with a pint of the fantastic local Time and Tide beer. Deal is fortunate to have both Dunkerley's and the local brewery.

This restaurant is extremely comfortable. The food was fantastic and the staff were all very friendly. I highly recommend it.
