Holiday Inn Express Suites Dripping Springs Austin Area, An Ihg

Two nights. checkin was a mess. pd thru priceline and they have reloaded. the room was never cleaned. disguised a late check-out, although the rooms were close. manager said that we are not members, so there are no advantages. terrible creation and customer service! because we were booked through a third, we were treated very badly! I'm calling to report this manager.

Cannot in good faith recommend this hotel. It was near impossible to get ahold of anyone when we called. We made the reservation about a month in advance and it took calling about 5 times on different occasions to finally get through to make the reservation. We were unable to reach anyone between time of reservation and arrival. Not a big deal, but frustrating. When we arrived there was no one available to check us, or another party in. We went downstairs a few times during our trip and it was the same. It appears staff hangs out in a room behind the main counter. We had multiple rooms on our reservation. One group had arrived a day earlier. When i asked for that room number, i was told they absolutely could not give it to me. It took me explaining that they 'd just charged ME for the room and the reservation was in MY name for them to finally give in. The air conditioner was either broken or off in all floors on the hallways throughout the duration of the trip. The bathroom doors were poorly constructed so you could clearly see into the bathroom on both sides despite the door being closed. The room itself was not clean to a suitable standard. We got a handicapped accessible room, which meant the shower had a pull down chair. Before stepping into the shower i noticed a hair that due to its nature could not belong to anyone in my party (not that we 'd used the shower at that point, but still). It appears that they 'd never pulled down the chair to clean that part of the tub. Seeing as how someone would sit naked on the chair, it made me question the sanitation and safety The beds were not made nicely. This is purely aesthetic, but still. You 'd think they 'd be made instead of just having the blankets thrown on. There was also a very questionable stain on one of the towels. Gross. Lastly, we thought we 'd need an extra room for another guest in our party. We went downstairs to book it, snd about 30 minutes later realized we didn 't need it. They refused to cancel and made us pay for it anyway, despite the fact that we had not stepped foot into it. I understand their reasoning, but it was still extremely frustrating. Clean, spacious and comfortable rooms, cheerful and conscientious breakfast attendant. Most extraordinary front desk and sales manager, Rosie, who went above and beyond her duties to pick us up when our car got a flat tire about 15 minutes from the hotel and we had no spare tire! She took us to a Hertz location about 20 miles from the hotel so we could rent a car. She definitely bent over backwards to accommodate our needs. We will remember her kind gesture for a long time!

It was great, except for the stressful check in. The lady at the front desk in the mornings/days acted like she didn't like her job and was very rude. She acted like she really didn't care if we were there or not. If I would have had a little more time to spare, I would have left and ask for a refund.

I went to two other hotels closer to the city and one was a 4 star and the other was a 3 star BOTH were gross in terms of air quality and cleanliness. THIS hotel was simple but exactly what I was looking for. no smells in the lobby or room (im sensitive to perfume type things) spacious, clean, everything seems new still, beds were comfortable, had updated lighting with usb and plugs, lots of lighting in room if you choose, nice big tv, good size bathroom, supplies shampoo and conditioner and they are quality products (even the 4-star didn't do that). Staff at front desk was extremely nice (red hair) recommended a great coffee place. Overall this place took my stress level down a notch. Thank you.
