The Stag's Head - Dublin

We arrived at the Stags Head today with my niece from Canada and family and very politely asked could we dine outside to be answered with an extremely rude reply saying that we had to pay beforehand as they were fed up with people absconding without paying and I thought the guy was just being somewhat witty but he repeated it again so rudely my niece who works in the hospitality industry said let’s take our business elsewhere. So very embarrassed. Shame on you Stags Head.

Oldest pub in Dublin. Fish and chips are great,beers cold and great service. Nice outside eating area. Always very busy but worth the wait

This is the pub in Dublin you shouldn’t miss, with the famous stag watching you ! Nice atmosphere, great food and typical drinks. I would recommend ham&cheese toastie, burger and oysters. The fries are incredible : Do not miss the Irish coffee there !

I can’t say enough good things about this pub! I visited last year while in Dublin and it’s everything you could hope for in a traditional pub and more. The atmosphere was cozy and fun and the staff were very kind and helpful. I wanted to take a t-shirt home as a souvenir to remind me of my time in Ireland and they went out of their way, even at a busy time, to find the right size for me! Fast forward to this month when my t-shirt was accidentally ruined

They recommended us this place and we loved it. Paints are somewhat cheaper than those you can find for other similar premises. We tried the burger and sandwich and we liked it a lot. We recommend it.
